Timor Leste National Commission for UNESCO, together with the Secretariat of State for Arts and Culture working with UNESCO Jakarta, launched the IchLink Video Competition (Intangible Cultural Heritage of Timor-Leste) at the Pusat Budaya Indonesia (PBI) in Dili. The competition is a special program of the International Information and Networking Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICHCAP) in the Asia-Pacific region.

The competition will be organized directly by Locomotion Art Studio from Yogja Indonesia, with the objective of encouraging people, especially young people, to explore and celebrate the diversity of Timor-Leste’s intangible cultural heritage. Through the production of this video, we can raise the voice of local communities and preserve a unique heritage.
The winning participant will receive mentorship on video production, production concessions, and prizes, and the video will be published on the ichcap link site. A total of 35 participants will participate in the competition.
