Strengthening Science and Mathematics for Primary Education in Timor-Leste

” 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the project ‘Strengthening Science and Mathematics for Primary Education in Timor-Leste’ on 29 January 2021. The meeting chair by the Minister of Education Youth and Sport represented by the Director-General of Pre School, and Recurrent and Basic Education, Director and Representative of UNESCO, Prof Dr. Shahbaz Khan, The Ambassador of Japan to Timor-Leste, represented by Deputy Ambassador Mr. Hirashima Shusaku. The meeting also participated by the steering committee members, TLNCU/SESIM team, and while Koei Research and Consulting (KRC) team and UNESCO Jakarta participated through the online meeting”. The objective of the meeting was to update the progress report of the activities and request for the Steering Committee members to guide and endorse the topics to be developed for supplementary materials, including guidance on the laboratory option and selection of municipalities and possibility and modality of the training in Japan.
