Dili 11 October 2023 The Timor-Leste National Commission for UNESCO (TLNCU) participated in the meeting of the Mini Committee for Review of the Budget of the Ministry of Education (MKRO-ME) in fiscal year 2023. In this meeting, the preparation of the proposed budget of the Ministry of Education was well known from the 2024 General Budget Review of the Ministry of Education.
In this meeting, TLNCU did not forget to present the proposed budget plan for the OJE 2024 budget submitted earlier in the 2024 fiscal package of the Ministry of Education. The budget presented by TLNCU will be used for the programs and activities of education, science, culture, communication, and information, as well as for the operation of TLNCU in 2024.
According to the Organic Law of the Ministry of Education, the Timor-Leste National Commission for UNESCO is a direct administration of the state and under the general directorate of the Ministry of Education; therefore, TLNCU also participated as a general directorate of the Ministry of Education and presented its own budget proposal to the Budget Review Committee of the Ministry of Education (MKRO-ME).
Participate in this meeting with the with the Executive Secretary (TLNCU), Finance Coordinator (TLNCU), Director General (ME), Director of Finance (ME), Director of Infrastructure (ME), and all directors in the Ministry of Education. The meeting was held in the conference room of the Ministry of Education in Villa Verde, Timor-Leste.
