After the publication of the book in Ulmera village, the Timor-Leste National Commission for UNESCO (TLNCU) immediately continued the launch of the publication of the local history book in Naueti in Uatucarbau, Uani-uma, Viqueque municipality.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture (MESSK) through the service (TLNCU) for the cultural program develops resources to publish books in Naueti language, during which the team has collected data on the local history of Naueti language. This launch is the publication of books in Naueti language so that in the future new generations will continue to read this book and speak Naueti language so that in the future it will disappear because of the preservation of local history as a treasure and heritage for future generations.
Participated by the Interim Executive Secretariat (TLNCU), representatives of post administrators, chief villages, police squad uatucarbau speakers, and communities. The activity also distributed 10 books of Naueti language history to the authorities and, in the future, will distribute more books to the communities.
The objective of publishing a book on the local history of the Naueti language is because in the modern era and globalization there are many languages that pose a great threat to the Naueti language, so it needs to be preserved and kept in books so that new generations, when adapting to modernization, will not forget to keep reading Naueti books so that they know and speak Naueti.
