The first workshop on the ICHLINKS Online Platform was organized by the International Information and Networking Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO-ICHCAP and the National Library and Archives of Bhutan. The objective of the workshop was to increase the knowledge of information officials and to review the collaborative mechanism on the ICHLINKS platform to manage the inventory of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) held by states parties to the 2003 UNECSO Convention at a good national level, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
Important agendas in the two-day workshop are: sharing information on UNESCO Convention 2003; management of the ICHLINKS digital platform; inventory of intangible cultural heritage through audiovisual documentation; site visits; and cultural institutions.
