
DiliโHera, 14โ18 July 2025 โ The Timor-Leste National Commission for UNESCO (TLNCU), in collaboration with UNESCO Jakarta and the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FECT) at UNTL Hera, conducted training activities on the ๐ฉ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ (๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐จ๐ฝ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ฒ๐) methodology.
This initiative, funded through the ๐จ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐๐ข ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ (๐ฃ๐ฃ), serves as a pilot project aimed at conducting rapid and scientifically grounded safety assessments of school infrastructure in Timor-Leste. The project will assess ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ถ๐น๐ถ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐.
TLNCU is also working in partnership with ๐จ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ (๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐), which will support the development of the ๐ฉ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ง๐ถ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ-๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ, provide online academic training, conduct data analysis, and prepare individual VISUS reports for each school assessed.
